Don’t miss the 2024 Regional Conservation Partnerships Network Gathering on Thursday, November 14, at UMass Amherst! This year’s conference theme is Collaborating for Healthier Communities. Featuring a keynote by Dr. Ann-Christine Duhaime and nearly two dozen sessions, we’ll explore the diverse elements of a healthy community and how, through collaboration, we can create a future where all people thrive. Sessions will focus on the environment’s direct impact on the health of communities and how climate change is putting pressure on all levels of society.
We're excited to announce that Tammi Kozuch, our Chief of Strategy and Ana Jamarillo, our Community Engagement Specialist will present on the Respiratory Chronic Care Program. Don't miss the insights that they'll bring to this important discussion!
The annual RCP Network Gathering is a free, one-day conference hosted by Highstead that brings together people advancing collaborative landscape conservation along with their allies and advocates. The Gathering is a place to connect with colleagues, meet new partners, share successes and challenges, and learn new skills. This event supports the growth of RCPs, promotes cross-disciplinary partnerships, and helps advance the pace and practice of landscape conservation throughout the Northeast and beyond.
Regional Conservation Partnerships help to increase the pace and scale of land conservation across property, town, state, and regional boundaries. Together, the RCP Network is building reciprocal relationships with new people and sectors, sharing and scaling the work outward, and helping to foster healthier, more just, climate-resilient communities.
You do not need to be affiliated with an RCP to attend the Gathering. All are welcome!
JOIN US for the RCP Network Gathering on November 14 from 8 AM – 4 PM at UMass Amherst to share how you, your collaborations, and your networks are advancing health, justice, and climate resilience.
