I can't wrap my head around this concept and the exchange with this Harris campaign "adviser." Comparing a tax on unrealized capital gains from investments to property taxes paid on real property that support the local municipal needs that all of us benefit from, police, fire, schools, public access like roads and buildings, etc. is nonsensical.
