???Exciting news! The new MSCA Doctoral Network HoloGen is kicking off on September 9th! Led by Prof. Torgeir R Hvidsten at NMBU - Norwegian University of Life Sciences with 8 EU institutions, we’re diving into the cutting-edge field of hologenomics to uncover how microbes and host genetics interact.????? Why is this important? Microorganisms living in and on our bodies impact nearly every biological process.????????Understanding how these microbes interact with host genetics will transform fields from basic biology to applied science in agrobiology, biomedicine, and more.??? Through HoloGen, we’ll train the next generation of PhD researchers to pioneer this emerging field. With expert supervisors at 7 leading universities and 18 partners, the network will combine expertise in symbiosis biology, microbial ecology, computational biology, and more!??? ???11 PhD positions will be available soon!
