Today, alongside Google, we’re sharing details on our first-of-its-kind, record-setting direct air capture purchase agreement ($100 per tonne) Beyond the numbers and cents, this agreement represents a nearly decade-long, bi-lateral commitment between two organizations committed to raising the global ambition for the future of the direct air capture industry. This agreement to deliver 100,000 carbon removal credits by the early 2030s is Google’s first bi-lateral, carbon removal purchase agreement -- adding to their already pioneering work with Frontier Climate. It is also the first DAC offtake agreement on record at this scale for $100 per tonne – the industry’s long-term ambition. We are beyond thrilled to walk this path alongside the team at Google.
