There are so many physical and mental benefits to Treadmill Training for your dog: Managing weight, improving cardiovascular health, strengthening joints, reducing boredom and destructive behaviors, and enhancing mental stimulation. It's great exercise on rainy or snowy days when it is difficult to get outside. And most of all, the dogs love it! COASTAL says, "Turn this thing on!" ??

Last week, RAL joined fellow shelters, advocates, and Best Friends Animal Society?at the Virginia State Capitol to celebrate a huge milestone in pet lifesaving. Virginia is now the largest state where more than half of shelters have reached a 90% live release rate—the benchmark for no-kill! ?? We’re proud to be part of this progress, but nearly 10,000 pets still need homes to make no-kill a reality statewide.
