Hello Network: We are launching a search for a Vice President, Digital Commerce & Marketplaces. This is a remote opportunity that will report to the Chief Global Category & Digital Officer. Our Client: A private equity-owned, multi-national company based in the United States that operates in the fitness and active lifestyle branded accessories market. The company’s purpose is to enable and empower all people to live active, healthy and fulfilled lives. With brands that have strong positions in the on-trend fast-growing accessories markets, our client is a one-stop shop. The Role: Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic VP, Digital Commerce - Marketplaces that knows how to execute and drive a business to join their team. This leader will report to the Chief Global Category and Digital Commerce Officer and will lead the strategic direction and growth management of Digital Marketplaces customers. This role has full business management responsibility for driving profitable growth in Americas marketplaces and retail.com customers. To support that agenda the role has responsibility for managing paid media - in partnership with our media agency, setting merchandise plans, negotiating terms and managing customer relationships. Additional internally facing responsibility for forecasting and communicating all aspects business performance. From a people management perspective, the role will lead a team of National Account Managers, Operations Specialists and a Media Manager. Essential Functions: Digital eCommerce, Strategic Planning, Team Leadership, 1P & 3P, Marketplace, Customer Experience, Marketing, Brand Management Education, Experience, and Other Skills: -A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Administration, Digital Marketing, Marketing or a related field of study. -15 + years in Ecommerce management including digital marketing, digital strategy, leadership, and executing -Demonstrate success in B2C ecommerce sales and or marketplace management in consumer-packaged goods. Ideally in omni-channel environment. -Data driven insights informing activities, maximizing outcomes. -Ability to provide consistent leadership, direction to direct reports and agency partners while providing data driven insights to the Executive team. -Flexibility in dealing with challenges and opportunities in a multi brand, matrixed organization with P/L targets. -Superior communication and education skills to bring the organization along in their understanding and support of best-in-class digital capabilities. -Build trust and generate growth strategy momentum. -Well versed in the publisher/media industry with well established relationships.
