Last week, Chef Paul Acosta represented Hobbs Brook Real Estate and Four Points by Sheraton Norwood at the Catersource + The Special Event Show conference’s DICED Competition in Fort Lauderdale. Chef Paul was selected from a pool of global, industry-leading chefs as one of six contestants competing for a live panel, including celebrity chefs Eric Levine, Nettie Frank, and Ron Ben Israel. Contestants were given 30 minutes to create an “Oscar-worthy” presentation using a mystery box of ingredients and minimum cooking utensils. Chef Paul stunned the judges with his creative Parisian gnocchi with pork belly cream sauce, pickled lychee, and wild dried oregano, and was announced as the competition’s winner!
