We also celebrated being recognized with numerous accolades from Airport Experience News and Airports Council International - North America for our exceptional concepts and commitment to customer service — a testament to our team members’ dedication to making travelers happier. ? Now open at Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) – The Waterman Fish Bar! A local favorite in Charlotte, The Waterman prides itself on serving domestic products that are responsibly sourced. Travelers can sit down and relax at a raw bar with an oyster shucking station that serves up fresh North Carolina oysters. Travelers to CLT also have an opportunity to experience classic seafood dishes and new spins on old favorites. Celebrating Bessie Coleman: A Sky-High Trailblazer ??? ? This Black History Month, we celebrate pioneers in Aviation, the industry in which we serve. Bessie Coleman made history as the first African American and Native American woman to earn a pilot’s license in 1921. Denied flight training in the U.S. due to racial and gender barriers, she moved to France, where she obtained her international pilot’s license from the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale. Nicknamed “Queen Bess,” she became a daring stunt pilot, performing aerial tricks that captivated audiences and inspired future generations. Beyond her skills in the sky, she was dedicated to breaking down barriers, refusing to perform at segregated venues and advocating for diversity in aviation. Last week, we joined the Port of Seattle to celebrate the final tenant openings as it completed its N Concourse modernization project at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.?We were excited to cut the ribbon to mark the opening of a hometown favorite, Lil Woody's! This is the brand’s largest location to date and features a full bar. Situated near Gate N8, travelers will now be able to get a taste of Lil Woody’s popular burgers, fries, and shakes. “Not only is Lil Woody’s home of the best burger in the state of Washington, but also the brand has built a reputation on using locally sourced ingredients and having a long-standing commitment to the community—values that we share and appreciate in our partners,” said Tosin Kasali, HMSHost Vice President of Business Development. “We are proud to continue our partnership with the Port of Seattle and to provide an opportunity for travelers to experience a sense of place through a delicious taste of Seattle’s food scene.”

This week, we cut the ribbon with MarketPlace Development and Massachusetts Port Authority to officially celebrate the opening of Boston Logan International Airport’s (BOS) first ever Shake Shack. The BOS location serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner and has already become a popular destination for travelers flying in and out of Terminal C. Travelers love the full bar offering specialty cocktails, beer, and wine. We’ve also incorporated three state-of-the-art self-order kiosks for a faster, frictionless ordering experience. Over the years, we have brought several iconic national brands and exciting local concepts to BOS, and we appreciate our partnership with Marketplace and Massport so we can continue to make the journey through BOS an enjoyable and exciting one!
