Zeferino Jimenez recently joined a panel discussion at Gavilan Community College to speak about his experiences in the industry and to answer any questions students had. As part of our involvement in the Gavilan Student Engagement Program, they discussed the grading, utilities, storm water treatment, and coordination for the project’s design, permitting, and construction. We’re thrilled to announce the completion of the Milpitas Innovation Campus, featuring six 2-story buildings! This incredible facility will house district offices, adult education classrooms, high school classrooms, a Technology Learning Hub, and administrative areas. But that’s not all! Our site work will include outdoor learning spaces, a vibrant quad, an expanded parking lot, and beautiful cantilever shade structures for our outdoor areas. I'm excited to announce that our new project in North San Jose has received unanimous Council approval! In collaboration with The Hanover Company, this project will bring 1,472 new units to the area—154 townhomes by SummerHill and 1,318 apartments by Hanover. Notably, 235 of these apartments will be designated as affordable housing. One of the highlights of this development is a 2.5-acre park that will be open to the public, adding valuable green space to the community. A huge thank you to our dedicated SummerHill Development team, Marshall Torre and Austin Lin, PE, our partner The Hanover Company, and our consultant team, HMH (ALAN LE & Manny Matias), SDG Architects, Inc.
