He is reporting through our New York Regional Sales Office and is responsible for our New England territory, which serves Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont. Meet Jen Ryan, director, Underwriting. “Although the process of group medical underwriting has similarities no matter where you are, Stop Loss underwriting, to me, is the perfect blend of mathematical analytics and clinical risk analytics, and that makes it more interesting.” Jen leads the development, execution and monitoring of Stop Loss pricing and related strategies for business tied to one of HM Insurance Group’s national producer partners. Jen also is a registered nurse, which is a unique asset in underwriting and assessing the risk profile of clients. She joined the company in 2022 and is based in Florida. Outside of work, Jen loves spending time with her husband of 20+ years, entertaining family and friends, cooking delicious meals and being on her boat. Say hello to Jen in the comments.
