KICKOFF RECAP! Last Friday, the Brazil Legal Symposium at Harvard Law School kicked off with two amazing panels by incredible speakers! For our first panel, Chief Justice Luís Roberto Barroso of the Brazilian Supreme Court and Harvard Law Professor Martha Minow delved into a very interesting and important topic: “Artificial Intelligence in the Judiciary”. The result were two insightful expositions and great interactions with the audience - which packed the room! The panel was masterfully mediated by HLS BR’s very own Giovana Carneiro, HLS LL.M. Candidate ‘24. For the second panel, four knowledgeable experts from different fields of the law convened to discuss “Innovative Mediation Models for Environmental and Human Rights Crises”. We were delighted to learn from Ana Carolina Riella, Fabiane Pieruccini, Carina Lellis and Deanna Parrish as they explained how mediation models have been used to redress issues of immense magnitude in Brazil. JOIN US FOR THE WEEKEND! The Brazil Legal Symposium continues THIS WEEKEND, April 13th and 14th, at Harvard Law School! Register here: https://lnkd.in/eFN7dDAR See you there! ??????
