Exciting progress at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago's new Schaumburg Outpatient Center. Skender has reached another exterior construction milestone, bringing this state-of-the-art healthcare facility one step closer to serving the community. We're grateful to be partnering with Titan Electric to deliver the lightning protection system—ensuring safety and reliability for this vital healthcare space.
We recently celebrated the "watertight" milestone of Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago’s new Schaumburg Outpatient and Infusion Center, meaning all exterior walls and roof systems are sealed against the elements. Now the team is pushing forward on interior finishes, exterior paving, and landscaping, looking towards finishing the project in June of this year. The new 75,000-square-foot outpatient center will bring state-of-the-art pediatric care closer to families in the northwest suburbs. Services will include ancillary and diagnostic care, orthotics and prosthetics, a full-service laboratory and pharmacy, and an ambulatory infusion center designed to accommodate future growth.
