It was a tough competition at last week's Halloween costume contest. Fittingly, the winner was the toughest competitor of all, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson aka Kylie Kinnett. Second place was a tie - Juan Limon in his breakout role as an Inmate, and Scooby Doo aka Beth Salvati deserves a Scooby Snack! Well done to all who participated! #TeamHLB #CostumeContest

No retreat day would be complete without a team building event. We finished up the day with a Wrap-Up Board Meeting - a charcuterie board building competition that each participant wrapped up and took home to enjoy over the weekend. All teams brought something different to the table. A huge congrats to team Charcuta-Rules on the win! Team Gouda 'Nuff gets honorable mention for a clever, albeit cheesy, team name. The Cab Five had a great presentation including a board that was designed to look like a "typical accountant." Shoutout to Team Diversity for not only having diversity among your boards, but also sticking to our theme of the day and incorporating one of our core values into your team name. Finally, Team Shark-ooterie earned an extra half point for best team pitch as their presenter mimicked a shark while delivering the pitch. Such a yummy and fun way to wrap up our retreat day while also incorporating several of our core values, especially teamwork. A huge thanks to the amazing Eva Gorman for organizing this event, setting it up so beautifully, and making sure we had everything needed to make it a successful competition where everyone took home a delicious prize. #TeamHLB #TeamBuilding #ThisIsMyKindofBoardMeeting

Such a meaningful and powerful retreat day with our management team.
