Yesterday, the Pinellas Continuum of Care (CoC) sent a letter to the Pinellas County Legislative Delegation, urging them to support crucial funding for homelessness services in our community. With a 12% increase in unsheltered homelessness in Pinellas homelessness during the last year - a year that included Hurricanes Helene and Milton - funding for emergency shelter, housing solutions, and essential support services is more critical than ever. The Pinellas CoC is calling for: ? Continued Homeless CoC Challenge Grant Funding to sustain prevention efforts, housing placements, and wrap-around services. ? Ongoing Homeless CoC Staffing Grants to ensure our CoC can operate effectively and continue vital coordination. Homelessness affects the health, safety, and economic well-being of our entire community. We need strong, continued investment to create real, lasting solutions. ?? Want to make a difference?
