We had a great rehearsal with the Gilded Age Orchestra of Newport last night! Looking forward to our rehearsal at Rosecliff tonight. Albert P. Crandall died on November 10, 1934. Crandall, born into a ship-building family, used his skills to become an organ builder. He went to Boston to work at the Hook & Hastings Organ Builders. In Newport he was employed to remove the interior of the "Bishop Berkeley" organ from Kay Chapel. and rebuilt and re-voiced the organ at Emmanuel Church.
