Historic Annapolis has preserved the distinctive character of Maryland's capital city through public advocacy and guidelines, purchase and renovation, original research, and educational programs. The Foundation manages historic Annapolis properties including the Museum of Historic Annapolis at the St. Clair Wright Center, William Paca House and Garden, Shiplap House, Museum Store, Waterfront Warehouse, and Hogshead at 43 Pinkney Street.

On Maryland Day, HA staff dedicated some time to remembering and honoring those who came before us. We partnered with Preservation Maryland and Maryland Center for History & Culture, organizing a Cemetery Clean-Up Day to St. Anne's Episcopal Church at their Cedar Bluff cemetery site, carefully removing yellow lichen from headstones to care for these special markers.
