Your invaluable support as we launch our capital campaign is a pivotal moment for the Hispanic Center of Western Michigan. As we focus on growth and expansion, we are excited to strengthen our ability to serve the Latino community and make a lasting impact. The energy and unity in the room showcased the power of collaboration and the collective strength of our mission. ????Join us for our 4th Annual Día del Ni?o celebration on Friday, April 25th, from 3-6 PM at the Hispanic Center!????This beloved tradition honors children and the joy they bring to our lives, inspired by the rich cultural celebrations of Día del Ni?o (Children’s Day), which is widely recognized across Latin America as a day to uplift and celebrate our youth. This year, we’re adding a little extra sweetness with our Candyland theme! ?? Expect an afternoon filled with fun, games, music, sweet treats, and resource tables to support our families. It’s a day dedicated to laughter, play, and community—because every child deserves to feel special! Last year we had close to 800 people attend! Want to support this event? Today, we want to celebrate all of their hard work! Here’s what some of our voter canvassers had to say about what this work means to them. One line that stuck out to us was from our canvasser, Blanca, who said, "This work is especially important because of moments like when a woman told me that in over 20 years of living in her neighborhood, a voting canvasser had never knocked on her door until now."

?? Join Us in Keeping Our Community Warm this Winter! ?? Last year, we helped 467 individuals receive much-needed coats to stay warm during the winter season. This year, our goal is to reach even more people in need, and we need your help to make it happen! We are seeking partners and supporters to join us in our annual coat distribution event happening on November 16th. Together, we can ensure that families in our community have the warmth they need as temperatures drop.
