April's journey with us began in 2000 when she first stepped into the world of Production, followed by Data Entry. It wasn't long before she found her true calling in Procurement, a role in which she has excelled and contributed significantly to our success. But April's story doesn't end at the office. She is also a devoted mother to three wonderful children—two sons and a daughter—who keep her life filled with joy and activity. It was fantastic to see everyone come together for a day filled with friendly competition, team spirit, and lots of fun. DiaCool – Your Thermal Management Solution! In the featured video, you'll see three samples: Copper, Copper DiaCool, and MoCu (80/20), all machined to identical sizes. We mounted a heating element to one face of each sample and placed temperature sensors at identical spots along the edges. As the heating element powers up, an infrared camera captures colour changes indicating heat flux across the samples. ?? What to Watch For: As the IR camera detects temperature changes, observe the colour transitions from cool blue through white, yellow, orange, red, to magenta. Magenta indicates a significant hot spot where the material's heat dissipation capacity is maxed out. At the video's end, note the temperature variations shown in the boxes around the samples. These numbers represent the thermal gradient of each material. ??? Thermal Performance: Copper: Thermal gradient of 5°C MoCu: Thermal gradient of 11°C DiaCool: Thermal gradient of just 1°C This demonstrates DiaCool's superior thermal isotropy and its ability to dissipate heat more effectively. Jeff V. has worked for Hi-Rel for 9 years.?He started as the Operations Manager of Hi-Rel’s Canadian facility and currently holds the role of Vice President of the Hi-Rel Group.?His focus is working tirelessly with his amazing team at HRG to build strong relationships with our customers, solve their most mission-critical applications, provide industry leading service and ultimately be the best company to work with in the Industry! Outside of the office, Jeff’s primary focus is being the best husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and uncle he can be. He is actively involved with local Dog rescues and has 3 dogs of his own that are truly part of the family.?He enjoys the outdoors and spending quality time with family and friends camping, hiking, and just exploring the outdoors, usually tagging along his 1970’s retro trailer. ? Meet The Team ? J?n Browning has worked for Hi-Rel for 12 years. He started as the Plating Manager and after two years progressed into the role of Process Engineering and Quality Manager. In 2022 he was promoted into the Operations Manager role which he enjoys very much. His main focus is looking at efficiency, cost saving, maintaining a happy and productive team and work environment! Outside of the office J?n enjoys spending quality time with his Wife Sarah and twin children Lucas and Lilly. His hobbies include playing Snooker and Golf to a standard that he wishes was higher.
