Thank you to Daniel Harten & hireEZ for a great conversation on making recruiter phone screens conversational and effective. 1 tip I shared that's helped me be more effective in recruiter phone screens. Send an email 15 minutes before the scheduled screen with job description, client details, and my enthusiasm for the scheduled call. Decreases no shows. Candidates know which role and company I am calling about. I'm spending less time pitching a role. I'm spending more time focused on learning about candidates, who they are, what they're looking for. You know what they say, "the easiest way to be interesting, is to be interested." I wish I would have implemented this into my workflow years ago. Especially when I was corporate.
