The HIMSS South Florida Chapter annually awards a $5,000 scholarship to students studying in the field of healthcare informatics. To be eligible for this award, applicants must meet the following requirements: 1.???Be a member of SFLHIMSS, 2.???Attend an accredited Florida college or university, and 3.???Maintain a 3.0 GPA. In addition to the scholarship, SFLHIMSS will award the recipient a one-year student membership to SFLHIMSS.
