We are moving locations. There was a lot magic made at 1335 Ridgeland. It’s odd to walk through an abandoned facility. Kind of sad. But the new location is awesome! Driving the moving truck, sporting the ProCents T. The HiLumz sign in background has been there for 12 years!

We wrote a lot of lighting commission checks over the years to a company called Epek Industries out of Cincinnati, Ohio. "Epek" is an acronym for Eugene Paul Edward Klump (owner/operator Gene Klump). The team at HiLumz had a wonderful personal and working relationship with Gene. He was an effective guy to have on your sales team. Our office and Gene were on the phone daily at times. Other times, Gene would drift into something else, probably something more eclectic than selling lights. Gene was also an artist and an actor. Gene passed on Friday after a battle with cancer. We are all very sad to lose Gene. Gene carried his HiLumz biz cards across the midwest. He would always bring great projects and programs and he would go out of his way to compliment our team when we delivered. Gene was the first person we travelled to visit after the company's 2017 change in ownership. Gene promoted and sold HiLumz products for over a decade. He will be missed.
