Highgate Hawai'i is excited to announce the appointment of Larissa Canida as the Front Office Manager for the Hilton Garden Inn Waikiki Beach. Before joining Highgate, Larissa spent seven years at the Coconut Waikiki Hotel, where she began as a Guest Service Agent, later becoming a Guest Service Supervisor and eventually an Executive Housekeeper. In December 2013, she joined Highgate Hawai'i at the Courtyard by Marriott Waikiki Beach as a Guest Service Agent and was promoted to Front Office Manager in November 2019. This December marks her 11th anniversary with Highgate! With her extensive experience in hospitality and a proven track record of leadership, Larissa brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to her new role at the Hilton Garden Inn Waikiki Beach. her journey from Guest Service Agent to Front Office Manager is a testament to her dedication and commitment to excellence in guest service. Known as the "cat lady" at the Courtyard, Larissa has two cats. She enjoys attending concerns, spending time at the beach, exploring the island and catching up with friends. Additionally, she frequently visits Arizona to see her family and loves watching NBA games, especially when it involves the Phoenix Suns! Day 3 of Housekeeping Week was all about friendly competition and showing off some serious hotel knowledge!
