?? Highway 17 wildlife crossing's huge success celebrated on a huge screen! ?? The Land Trust of Santa Cruz County puts its big win at Laurel Curve on the big screen. Featuring expert ecologists and researchers, Tanya Diamond and Ahíga Snyder from Pathways for Wildlife with an introduction by Chris Wilmers PhD from the Santa Cruz Puma Project, the Land Trust shared their year one findings and lots of exciting footage of wildlife using the Highway 17 crossing! ?? Two brave students were willing to share some photos they took from our workshop took place at Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park along the Redwood Loop Trail back in September. We explored composition, depth of field, lighting (a big challenge in the redwoods), and more. ?? The first two images are from Tara Bulut, the second two are from David Duncan, and the last image is by the Santa Cruz Museum of Natural History's Rocio Sanchez-Nolasco who helped out with the day (the photo show's instructor Mike Kahn with a workshop participant).
