This week, the Hillsboro Health (Hillsboro Area Hospital) executive team attended attended the 2024 Community Hospital Leadership Conference: Transforming Challenges into Triumphs in Nashville, Tennessee. This meeting of community hospital CEOs, administrators, board members and other C-suite executives provided a robust forum for our leadership team to explore the evolution and the future of heath care and how it will affect our local, independent hospital Hillsboro Health. Hillsboro Health is excited to announce the appointment of Chief Financial Officer Alex Nazarian, MHA, MBA, CPA, to its administration team. With an expansive background in financial management and health care leadership, he brings a wealth of expertise and fresh perspective to the team. “Alex has extensive financial experience and a strategic vision I am confident will be instrumental in helping guide the continued success and growth of Hillsboro Health,” says Chief Executive Officer Michael Alexander. Nazarian has over 15 years of experience in health care administration, having most recently served as chief executive officer at Salem Township Hospital. He has also held roles as chief financial officer and chief information officer. Alex has master’s degrees in health administration and business administration and is a certified public accountant. “I am committed to ensuring Hillsboro Health remains a sustainable and prosperous organization going forward,” says Nazarian. “The people I have met here so far are wonderful, and I am excited to be a part of this positive, caring culture,” he adds.
