Meet Arthur Gardner, Jr.! Art is the Construction Manager at Hillcrest, where he guides tenants through the build out and occupancy of their new spaces and ensures their expectations are achieved and that they’re delighted with the process. Art also manages capital and maintenance projects for Hillcrest properties and provides constructability reviews and estimates for potential portfolio acquisitions. Art’s favorite memory is his first walk-thru of a building Hillcrest eventually renovated. The building was in really bad shape, and at the time, he had no idea how his new employer would turn it around. “Once we got past the midway point of the project, being able to see the light at the end of the tunnel was very gratifying. Seeing it complete…I was really proud of what we accomplished together.” When not working, Art’s favorite thing to do is spend time with his wife, four kids and the family’s German Shepherd and Yorkie-Poo. He loves to watch his daughter play basketball, go to the movies with his kids, and he especially enjoys fishing when he can break away in the summers.
