Thinking about our tagline, "From Survive to Thrive," and a young man from our district who went from homelessness to graduating high school to now learning to drive, having an apartment, and going to college. And he's a voice of positivity. Sometimes HCCD is just a vessel, sometimes much more, but always changing dynamics to get people and the community in a better place.

30+ years of serving in the neighborhood communities West of 99 in the Central Unified School District. Our mission is to work in the area West of 99 (Fresno, CA) and its surrounding communities to stimulate economic development and enlist indigenous leadership to improve the economic, physical and spiritual infrastructures, thereby bringing hope and stabilization to families and the community.

As we look back on the first five years of having the Teague Community Resource Center as a home base, we see how vital it has been for our West Central Fresno community. This "hub" has become a lifeline- a place where those in crisis can find solutions and where our collective efforts have stepped in to fill the gaps in community resources, like hosting over 20 clinics each year to serve thousands of patients needing healthcare. It's a neighborhood networking place where advocacy, driven by resident leadership, is creating real change. Our children are discovering STEM, finding mentorship, and embracing leadership opportunities, while entire families are thriving. We're excited to see what the next five years will bring- here's to continued growth!
