The public is cordially invited to a 5:00pm groundbreaking event on Thursday, September 5, at the future site of the Bentonville Adult Recreation Center - 215 SW A Street. Join us as we celebrate the expansion of the existing Downtown Activity Center. The additional 40,000 square feet includes a wellness pool, fitness center and studio, indoor walking track, gymnasium with pickleball courts, multi-purpose rooms, cafe, and more. In addition to her degree, she is pursuing a minor in urban and regional planning. Originally from Jonesboro, Arkansas, she likes to spend time with family and friends, draw, and watch movies. In our 50 years of providing architectural services in NWA, one of the most unique projects we have completed was the Bachman-Wilson House, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. The house was originally built in 1954 along the Millstone River in New Jersey, and later purchased in 1988 by architect/designer team Lawrence and Sharon Tarantino, who meticulously restored it. Over time the river encroached upon the property, and the Tarantinos determined that selling the house to an institution willing to relocate it was the best option for its preservation. Crystal Bridges acquired the home in 2013, complete with interior fixtures and furnishings. The building was disassembled and moved to Bentonville, where it was painstakingly reassembled at the Crystal Bridges site in 2015. Hight Jackson served as Architect of Record, working closely with Bill Faber, the Contractor for the project. The architecture reflects Wright's "Usonian" period during which he designed a distinctly American style of housing that was accessible and affordable to all. Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art

Rogers Public Schools has partnered with us to design facilities that have impacted the education and enriched the lives of students in our area beginning with the Rogers Mountie Fieldhouse in 1977.
