We were excited to participate in the 12th Metallization and Interconnection Workshop (MIW) for Crystalline Solar Cells, which took place on October 23 & 24 in Chambéry, France. The event, held near the beautiful Lake du Bourget and the renowned CEA/INES laboratories, brought together industry experts to discuss cutting-edge advancements in solar cell technology. The workshop covered key topics such as: ? Metallization fundamentals and alternative deposition methods. ? Novel paste formulations and advanced cell concepts (TOPCon, SHJ, IBC). ? Tandem solar cells with perovskite top-cell challenges. ? Innovative interconnection approaches such as multi busbar, shingling, and more. ? Sustainability in metals recycling and circular economy. At HighLine Technology GmbH , we were proud to present a poster showcasing our latest work on: ? Paste development. ? AI-based optimization for improved metallization processes. ? Process Maturity and industrial scalability. ? ECA (Electrically Conductive Adhesive) Interconnection. Apart from that we were proud to see the progress of our ongoing collaborations with leading automation manufacturers being presented on stage. #Hyfcell 2024 in Stuttgart! ? A big THANK YOU to ASYS Energy for hosting HighLine Technology GmbH Technology at their booth showcasing our joint solutions for hydrogen and fuel cell production! Our innovative and flexible micro extrusion systems reveal great potential for cost and performance optimization in Flow Field coating (PEM) and even full surface coating (e.g. SOEC/MEA). Our intermittent printing technology can be applied for small scale (single substrates) to large scale (e.g. roll-to-roll) productions. The hy-fcell was the perfect stage to present our solutions, connect with industry experts and discuss the latest developments in the field. Exciting Times at the @HTGF Family Day! Over the past days, Marian Breitenbücher and Sejfudin Suljic had the pleasure of joining the Family Day of our Seed Investor HTGF | High-Tech Gründerfonds. We had the privilege of hosting an information booth and pitch our developments at HighLine on the Innovation Stage. The event was a dynamic blend of engaging conversations, insightful discussions, and fresh inspirations, resulting in numerous new connections. A key highlight was the distinguished lineup of keynote speakers, including the German Federal Minister of Economic Affairs and Climate Action, Robert Habeck. Minister Robert Habeck revealed the launch of the HTGF Opportunity Fund, a transformative initiative with a volume of €660 million aimed at growth-phase investments within the HTGF portfolio. This fund seeks to address the gap in later-stage financing rounds with investments up to €30 million in selected portfolio companies, and up to €50 million in exceptional cases. All investments will be made in collaboration with one or more private investors, providing substantial support for emerging startups.
