Our team took part in NYSE Partnership Day, where industry leaders from media, advertising, and tech came together to discuss collaboration, innovation, and the future of content. The event at the New York Stock Exchange featured valuable insights from Lynn Martin (President, NYSE Group) and Joe Benarroch (Head of Content & Media Partnerships, NYSE), as well as engaging discussions led by experts like Tara Dziedzic (Head of US Listings, NYSE Group), Abby Cunningham (Marketing), Laura Diorio?(Social Media), and Rishad Tobaccowala?(Author & Founder, Rethinking Work). Topics covered everything from media partnerships and branding to the evolving role of technology in shaping content. Big thank you to NYSE for hosting such a great event. Looking forward to more conversations and connections! #NYSEPartnershipDay?#Media?#Advertising?#Networking

No actors here, just real business owners, employees, and customers bringing this campaign to life! We had a blast working on the American Express Disputes Learning Hub, because every business owner deserves to focus on their craft, not disputes. And if you spotted a familiar face… that was our very own Ola Parks making her on-screen debut! ???? Time to update that LinkedIn, Ola! ?? Huge thanks to American Express team for trusting us with this project! ?? Check out the final video by clicking the link below! https://lnkd.in/eGxwxEKT Director: Mitchell Lazar? The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity is always a thrilling and dynamic event. This year, we were inspired by incredible campaigns, but some stood out more than others. Here are the highlights! The most standout campaign was CeraVe’s ‘Michael CeraVe.’ This campaign took audiences on a journey from “CeraVe, developed by Michael Cera” to “CeraVe, developed with dermatologists.” By creating a clever conspiracy, starting with a Reddit rumor, followed by bonkers PR teasers, and leveraging the Super Bowl stage, CeraVe captured the public’s imagination and achieved phenomenal results. Another one was Heineken’s ‘Gaming Fridge.’ Heineken tapped into the gaming community by addressing a key issue: overheating. The result? The Gaming Fridge became a sensation, impacting over 340 million gamers worldwide and earning over $25 million in media coverage. This innovative campaign not only connected Heineken with Gen Z gamers but also showcased the brand’s relevance in a fresh, exciting way. The Met’s ‘Replica’ campaign also captivated us. This groundbreaking campaign brought art to the metaverse, allowing visitors to scan artworks at The Met and turn them into digital wearables for their Roblox avatars. The Replica app guided visitors on a scavenger hunt through the museum, scanning objects to unlock digital items. This immersive experience increased foot traffic to The Met and promoted art appreciation among a new generation, proving that cultural institutions can thrive in the digital age. These campaigns have sparked our imagination at Highlight, and we’re excited to use their innovative strategies as a springboard for our future projects. Stay tuned for what’s next! #CannesLions2024 #CreativeExcellence

Our latest work is a portrait of?retired professional baseball player?Mariano Rivera, widely regarded as one of the greatest closers in Major League Baseball history. After pitching 19 seasons for the New York Yankees, in 2019, he became the first in MLB history to be unanimously elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame, an achievement that's testament to Rivera's extraordinary career and the immense respect he commands within the baseball community. Our portrait shows Rivera's stoic and commanding presence, dressed in traditional cowboy attire. The black and white aesthetic emphasizes the timeless quality of his legacy, bridging the worlds of baseball and the rugged frontier. The chiaroscuro effect highlights the depth of his character, drawing parallels between the lone cowboy's journey and Rivera's solitary role on the pitcher's mound, where he often stood as the last line of defense for his team. Highlight is honored and privileged to have been entrusted with portraying Mariano Rivera in this unique and powerful way. Our creative vision allowed us to merge the themes of baseball and the cowboy ethos, celebrating Rivera's role as a trailblazer and a guardian of the game's integrity.

Last night, the Highlight Creative team attended a thought-provoking event, Uncomfortable Conversations, hosted by The Marketing Society at McCann New York. Part of an ameliorating series, the evening centered around contemporary masculine and feminine portrayals in media and advertising—a topic of the time. Our master of ceremonies, Suresh Raj (He/Him/His), Chief Growth Officer, McCann New York, set the tone, and we were graced by insights shared by an impressive panel of speakers: Ann Marie Kerwin, Americas Editor, WARC Cinzia Crociani, EVP, Executive Global Creative Director, McCann New York Gary J. Nix, Founder & Chief Strategist, the brandarchist Larry Adams, Founder & CEO, XStereotype The discussion delved into how media shapes perceptions and the ongoing demand to disrupt stereotypes. Of the speakers, our team was most familiar with Gary J. Nix, known as the "brandarchist," a dynamic strategy executive and change consultant celebrated for his innovative approach in entertainment, magazine publishing, sports, and marketing. His philosophy is rooted in viewing "brand" as a verb, emphasizing continuous action and evolution. He studies how and why people buy rather than just how to sell, and advocates for compelling strategies over hasty ones, focusing on fitting within culture rather than just conforming to it. This prompted our breakout session to discuss how advertisers can navigate media polarization and cancel culture, how marketers can overcome barriers to connect with culture authentically, and the role of empathy in our work. Jules from our team represented our group during the discussion, sparking conversations we will carry forward. Thank you to our wonderful hosts and panelists for creating an ideal space for "Uncomfortable Conversations," proving that challenging discussions that lead to meaningful insights are not always as difficult as they seem. We're excited to apply what we've learned and continue pushing the boundaries of "brandarchy," to excite and captivate consumers, while making the world a better place. #StatusQuoDisruption #MarketingEffectiveness #EmpathyInMarketing #HighlightCreative
