One of London's most iconic post-war buildings, Balfron Tower is a modernist icon in East End's Poplar. Originally designed by renowned architect Ern? Goldfinger, a joint venture between Telford Living and Housing Association Poplar HARCA delivered a refurbishment in 2023 of 146 build-to-rent homes. Telford collaborated with the Studio Egret West and Ab Rogers Design to restore the landmark, inclusive of extensive community space and underground car parking. Situated amid a network of canals, estuaries and docks, Poplar is a well-connected London location for commuters and families alike.
