Students in Professor Scott Jobe, MBA, FACMPE's healthcare management classes had an exciting opportunity to visit the revolutionary Cone Health MedCenter at Drawbridge facility. This experience offered a unique opportunity to witness firsthand how Cone Health is implementing innovative strategies to meet and exceed patient expectations. Our students were able to translate the textbook theory of population health into real life practical solutions being deployed by Cone Health. Experiences like these empower our students to learn the valuable insights of how vertical integration is impacting healthcare and redefining the industry.

Last week's Investment Club virtual event with Citibank was a great success! Citibank representatives shared valuable insights about the company's culture, financial industry, and their day-to-day experiences. Students in attendance gained knowledge of Citibank's programs and career opportunities.

The HPU Accounting Club hosted the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants and its members for a speed networking event on Monday, November 11th. Students were given the opportunity to meet and explore various careers in accounting. There were representatives from audit, tax, and corporate accounting sharing stories and advice.
