We are delighted to introduce Scott (Sonny) Caliendo as High Country Motor Lodge's new Operations Manager! Sonny brings invaluable experience in hospitality and a strong commitment to delivering excellent service. Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Sonny moved to Northern Arizona University to study English and Education. During this time, he immersed himself in Flagstaff's hospitality scene, working at various restaurants. His career transitioned from teaching to overseeing operations at Mormon Lake Lodge. At Mormon Lake Lodge, Sonny managed multiple venues, including a saloon, steakhouse, rodeo arena, country store, pizza shop, and camping services. He most recently excelled in handling food and beverage operations at Maswik Lodge in Grand Canyon National Park. Outside work, he enjoys exploring the outdoors, traveling, hiking, biking, and indulging in literature and music. Please join us in making Sonny feel welcome as he starts this exciting new chapter with our team.
