During this festive time of year, it can be easy to let our minds wander, getting distracted from the work in front of us.?Some causes of distraction to keep in mind are: ? Taking frequent days off or having schedules altered in other ways. Be proactive about taking a moment to put your mind in “work mode” before entering a job site. ? Stress can also cause a loss of focus. Set realistic expectations this holiday season and don’t overschedule yourself. ? It can be easy to become overtired during the holidays. Fight fatigue and associated loss of focus by sticking to a regular sleep schedule, maintaining a healthy diet, and staying hydrated. Keep safety as a primary topic of conversation so that everyone has a consistent reminder of the importance of staying focused. ?
