Thank you for the iPad delivery, Bruce Clark! We appreciate these tools that will support families in the High Country region in the wake of Hurricane Helene! We plan to use these devices to help people in our region with applications for FEMA Individual Assistance, Disaster Unemployment Assistance?and North Carolina Disaster Nutrition Assistance!
As part of a larger relief effort, we deployed 75 iPads preloaded with FEMA and other support resources to High Country Council of Governments. These tools along with support from our digital navigator team back in CLT will help families access and receive support rebuilding their communities and lives. Another 153 devices were delivered to Land of Sky Regional Council in Asheville yeaterday. This is just the first wave. More deployments coming next week in partnership with S.G. Pat Millen and our critical partners at E2D - Eliminate the Digital Divide Being connected is more critical than ever. Want to help us? DM me. Back to work!!
