We recently had the honor of hosting our inaugural?LP Summit in Seoul. Alongside our partners at Bow Capital,?we shared our latest investment theses, provided updates on our fund, and featured talks from the inspirational founders we have backed. ?? Key Highlights: ? Building brand differentiation as a fund: as capital in venture capital becomes increasingly commoditized, we discussed how Hico and Bow’s collaboration-centric approach to venture serves as a key differentiator for founders. ? Finding the signal in investment hotspots: we shared proprietary investment frameworks that allow us to adopt a first-principles mindset and filter through the noise in hype-heavy markets, such as AI and robotics. ? Discussing what’s next: we shared long-term theses that excite us and fuel our conviction in various emerging technologies across market cycles. We had a great night at our Autonomous Humans meetup last Wednesday, attended by many brilliant minds from diverse backgrounds/industries. It was an opportunity to step back and think about the true value and possibilities that LLMs can unlock, as well as the threats they can pose from cultural and societal perspectives. In terms of what comes next, we had the opportunity to dig deeper on the topic of ‘AI agents’ and how they can be a stepping stone towards greater automation. We are grateful for everyone who joined us for the event, with special thanks to Michelle Yi, Artur Kiulian, Hamed Honari, PhD for insightful talks, and our friend Rahul Parundekar for organizing and co-hosting.
