This is also the challenge where caregivers don't know that help exists, and in some places where to even go to find that help, because quite honestly, I think it takes a master level social worker to navigate all the county databases to say what's available to you -- and that's part of the reason why we have master level social workers working on our on our team at Cleo. Today is #NationalCaregiversDay, a day honoring all of the healthcare professionals who provide long-term care and hospice care for seniors and elders throughout the country. Caregiving, of course, is more important than ever. With one in five Americans expected to be 65 years old or older by 2030, it’s crucial that we have those by their side to help them manage chronic conditions, take care of their health, and support their loved ones. Caregiving professionals help families focus on their daily lives, on spending time with their loved one, and on what matters most. They’re amazing collaborators with the family caregivers we support at Cleo. ??
