In addition to his pivotal role as Chief Electrical Engineer, Tim Jones has been appointed to the position of Chief Operating Officer at Hickman-Ambrose. In this elevated capacity, Tim will be entrusted with the strategic oversight of in-house production, the seamless coordination of field operations, and the meticulous management of the company’s daily activities. Ted Ambrose, Jr. will continue to uphold his role as President and CEO, guiding business development and management with his visionary approach. Meanwhile, Scott Hickman will remain steadfast in his role as Vice President and Chief Mechanical Engineer, continuing to contribute his expertise to the company's success.

Happy back to school season! Schools all throughout Hampton Roads are seeing teachers setting up their classrooms for a wonderful year, and students are gearing up to return in the next couple of weeks! This summer, we were busy getting schools like Thalia Elementary, Greenbrier Middle, Western Branch Middle, Indian River Middle, Greenbrier Intermediate, Great Bridge Intermediate and Booker T Washington High School ready for the year! At Thalia Elementary we assisted in the installation of new roof, coordinated MEP disciplines for continuation of services during reroof and reconnecting existing HVAC, electrical disconnects, drain lines, and plumbing. The Greenbrier Middle auditorium was modernized with new aisle lighting. Both WBMS & IRMS received updates to the rooftop storm drainage, including new piping and roof drains . At Greenbrier and Great Bridge Intermediate Schools the HVAC units in the Gymnatoriums are in the process of being replaced. Lastly, with Booker T Washington we assisted in a complete HVAC replacement, including new RTUs, VAVs, and kitchen hood. Associated electrical and plumbing were upgraded to support.?
