    How to NOT stand out when looking for a job ? I've noticed a lot of AI-generated applications lately, especially an increase in candidates using generic AI content for the "Why I'm interested in this job" section. It's understandable given the rise of generative AI, but most of the time, this approach doesn't improve your chances of getting the job. Instead, it makes you stand out less. These days, it's common to get hundreds of applications for one role, and the competition can be insane. But ironically, it's EASIER than before to stand out from the crowd. You just have to be PERSONAL again, instead of trying to AI-personalize it ?? Using AI as a tool to write a resume, cover letter, or explain why you're a fit is totally fine. BUT, when everyone uses AI the same way, it all ends up sounding extremely similar to a recruiter, and that doesn't help you stand out. My simple advice: Use AI to get started, for proofreading, or to get your ideas flowing. But then make the motivation yours. Add your personality, and show why you're genuinely interested in the job. That personal touch makes all the difference. Applying for jobs is time-consuming, for sure. But use AI where it can truly make an impact and improve your chances, not where it decreases them.     Do something different. Don't forget to step out of your everyday bubble ?? A few weeks ago, I did something different. I left my wife and three kids at home and went on a spontaneous five day trip to Mallorca with friends. No kids, no job responsibilities. And for once, no plan whatsoever. Usually, my trips are either all-inclusive family vacations or work-related conference trips - where my brain is always active. This time, it was different. We had no schedule, no goals - just freedom to do whatever felt right in the moment. One day, I found myself floating in the ocean, waiting for someone to call out for help or for kids to start crying. But no one did. It was just me and the water, and I could be fully present. We road-tripped around the island, discovered hidden spots, went for a run when we felt for it, enjoyed amazing food. No rushing, no stress. Just going with the flow. When I got home to Sweden again, I felt more motivated at work, more balanced at home, and it truly felt that my life bubble had expanded. I used to think I was quite relaxed and happy, but this trip opened my eyes to the power of taking time to just be present. Every once in a while, we need to break the routine. Take a few days off, do something different. It doesn’t have to be extravagant or far away - it just has to take you out of the usual rhythm. → Get off the computer and take a workday in the forest - just bring a paper and pen and let things just happen. → Go on a one day road trip with no plan - just drive and see where the road takes you. → Try something completely out of your comfort zone: learn a new skill, take a class, or go to an event you wouldn’t normally attend. Maybe an art class, or an underground party. That’s up to you :) Try it! Step out and expand your bubble. You’ll be amazed at what it does for you.

    My 300 km goal in September is accomplished! ??♂? ?? A month ago, I shared my ambitious target of running 2000 km this year. Midway through, I felt inspired to push myself even further by aiming for 300 km in just one month. It seemed completely crazy considering my past achievements. Although I've run a couple of marathons before, I’ve never reached this level in my life. AND you know what? I did it!!! It wasn’t easy. The month started with back pain that took about a week to shake off, and the last few days brought a sore throat. But I was determined to reach my goal, so with some grit and determination, I pushed through :) I won’t dive into trying to connect this with business life this time, as that feels a bit mainstream here on LinkedIn... However, I want to emphasize that no matter how stressful life becomes, prioritizing your health and being persistent in your exercise is key. Remember, the body feeds the brain! Here are the key lessons I learned in reaching my goal: ? There are NO excuses: If the goal is important enough, you’ll always find time to achieve it. Some of my runs happened almost in the middle of the night when I couldn’t fit them in earlier. ? You need to plan-on-the-go: Things rarely go as planned. I had to adapt due to back pain, a cold, and a heavy workload, but I found a way to make it work. ? Have a winner's mindset: This time, I was so confident that I would achieve this goal that giving up was simply not an option. That helped me a lot. If I can do it, balancing an incredibly intense life with three kids at home while running a company—you can do it too!! So, hopefully there are a few of you out here that feel a bit inspired by this. If so, just lace up your running shoes and prioritize your health (it’s an active decision, don’t forget that)! ??
