HIALSA is excited to invite you to its 2024-2025 Masterclass Series: "Navigating Arbitration Across Industries." The inaugural session will take place on December 4 and will feature Jonathan C. Hamilton, Global Co-Chair of International Arbitration at Paul Hastings LLP. He will focus on “The New Globalization, ESG & Arbitration,” drawing on first-hand experience with environmental, social impact and governance/compliance issues in international arbitration to explore whether the treatment of those issues in arbitration decisions constitutes a contribution to sustainable development or a form of unsustainable greenwashing.?He is a “Hall of Fame” ranked partner who is recognized in guides as “an incredible powerhouse” and “a global leader and true pioneer in international arbitration.” Students who attend five or more Masterclasses throughout the year will receive a certificate of completion, recognizing their commitment to learning and engagement with arbitration practice. Join us for an exciting two-day event to compete with teams from around the globe and present arguments before tribunals of experienced coaches, former mooties, practitioners, and academics from diverse legal backgrounds. Each team will participate in at least five rounds of oral pleadings, with the top two advancing to a grand final.
