???Harvard Law School Vis Pre-Moot 2025 – one for the books! Students of fourteen law schools from around the world gathered in Cambridge last weekend for the inaugural?Harvard Law School Vis Pre-Moot Competition. After months of intense preparation, the teams had the opportunity to present their arguments before?arbitral tribunals composed of Harvard LL.M. candidates and experienced practitioners. While our “judges” were eager to help participants refine their pleadings ahead of the world’s largest private law moot in?Vienna?later this year, they were equally impressed by the teams’ overall preparation and their level of advocacy. Following two exciting days of?oral arguments—and a lively?reception?in between—Bucerius Law School (Germany) ?????and?Case Western Reserve University (Ohio) ?????advanced to the grand final. Before an audience of?120 spectators, they argued before an esteemed tribunal featuring?Ms. Vrinda Vinayak, HIALSA VP David von der Thannen, and Professor Joe Morrissey. Ultimately,?Bucerius Law School?claimed the?championship title???, while?Case Western speaker Daniel Radigan?was named?Best Individual Oralist. Yet, in every sense, the?weekend had no losers, as everyone took home?great memories?and?newly made connections! Last but certainly not least, a?special shoutout??? goes not only to our?wonderful arbitrators?but also to our?dedicated organizing committee—David von der Thannen, Vishesh Sharma, Tim C.
