5th DoD GIS Practitioners in Hawaii Quarterly Meeting will be held at Fort Shafter on Oahu Island, and hosted by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) - Honolulu District (POH), on July 31, 2024. Save the Date! Purpose of Quarterly Meetings: 1. Identify DoD GIS practitioners throughout Hawaii. 2. Establish and maintain working relationships with other DoD GIS practitioners throughout Hawaii via in-person activities. 3. Streamline inter-agency efforts: (1) mitigate overlapping efforts, (2) encourage coordination and collaboration, (3) understand various agencies’ roles/responsibilities, (4) identify authoritative datasets, (5) etc. 4.
