We’re rolling out electronic checklists. Why are we so excited about this? Electronic checklists save a lot of paper, which saves a lot of trees! (which is great not just because they’re so pretty this time of year) These checklists to ensure our EVS teams maintain our standards in every patient room, hallway, and even waiting areas. Another Sunshine Award? Our team members are outstanding. Derrick Searles, a patient transporter at Mercy West, won the Mercy West Sunshine Award for his kind demeanor and comforting presence. What is something that’s never scary? Safety. Keeping our teams and our customers safe is always a top priority, and it’s key to maintaining our excellent service. Throughout October, we’ll be sharing weekly safety and compliance reminders to make sure there are no tricks, just safe treats! One easy safety tip we keep front of mind: Be aware of your surroundings! Low-hanging cabinets and door handles can sneak up on you, leading to head bumps. A big congrats to our MAF station team for earning a perfect score on their Delta scorecard in August and being recognized as one of Delta’s Station of the Month award winners!
