"To add construction to the mix in an aircraft hangar has complicated day-to-day operations within the building, particularly since the construction affects a large portion of the building with a re-roof and interior renovation. However, HHI has learned to adapt and work with the building users. They meet weekly with building personnel to coordinate regarding planes leaving and entering the building, and HHI is quick to take action to ensure the day-to-day is not hindered within the building. This involves regular maintenance on a large plastic wall which provides a barrier against the exterior elements, so that aircraft maintenance can continue unhindered inside the building." - Larsen Blake

HHI aims to develop innovative techniques that help others perform their jobs more efficiently and accurately. The adjustable creeper for aircraft maintenance is one of these innovations. Ethan Billin, HHI's Manufacturing Sales Manager, says "This adjustable creeper is designed to give crew members an ergonomic work surface to reach the underside of wings and fuselage of aircrafts." HHI strives to constantly improve and create solutions to today's problems.

Wild & Wow is back with input from our Colorado office! Here is what they shared about these Banked Corners. "This fitness center features a unique indoor running track on the second floor. What sets this running track apart from others are its banked corners, made possible by the innovative use of high-density structural foam. To achieve these banked corners, three different sizes of structural foam are measured, cut, and assembled on-site to form a staircase-like structure. Once the foam is shaped to create the desired slope, a welded wire reinforcement system is installed over it to provide structural support for the subsequent 4-inch concrete topping slab. Following this, the area is carefully prepared for the concrete pour. The final touch to the running track involves the installation of athletic rubber flooring over the concrete, providing a polished and professional finish." - Samantha Zamora #innovation #hhistrong
