#ThrowbackThursday to our 2023 renovation of the historic Textile Building in Cincinnati! Originally built in 1906, this 12-story landmark was transformed into 282 modern apartments. Proud to have been a part of this stunning transformation at 550 at Lytle Park, working alongside MA Design. The revitalized spaces seamlessly blend modern elegance with the building's original charm. Check out the incredible details that make this project stand out! #BuildEveryDay
The reimagined 550 at Lytle Park is a great example of mid-century Brutalist architecture being revitalized into a luxurious residential community. The once dark breezeway has been transformed into an inviting lobby, enclosed with a glass canopy and adorned with rich wood paneling, decorative metal screening, and a central fountain. This new entry sequence sets the tone for an elegant living experience, creating a warm, welcoming space for residents and visitors alike. Exterior improvements introduced expansive new windows that fill the units with natural light and frame beautiful views of Lytle Park, seamlessly connecting the building to its urban surroundings. The top-floor units facing the park have added loft spaces that are nestled within the original building envelope. The loft roof structure was intricately designed to maximize the volume of space inside, involving strategic cuts in the existing concrete roof structure with the addition of a new steel structural frame to achieve double-height spaces. https://loom.ly/H1_-Wzw
