NEW PROJECT ALERT!! ?? The Housing First Minnesota Foundation is proud to partner on the nation’s first all-military sober home for veterans with PTSD. Located in Winnebago, Minnesota, Bravo Zulu House is a 13-bed community house designed to address the unique sober housing needs of veterans in Minnesota suffering from PTSD. The name “Bravo Zulu” is a naval signal meaning “well done” and is used to praise actions, operations, or performance. For the veterans coming to live at Bravo Zulu House, this name represents a heartfelt welcome home, a thank you for their service, and a celebration of the next steps in their recovery journey from addiction and PTSD. Moved by the mission of Bravo Zulu House, the Foundation contributed $100,000 to help cover construction costs.
