    Nothing makes me happier than seeing taco parties on Friday afternoons. ???? Tacos have become part of Dreww's company culture (we use HeyTaco ??, a recognition app integrated with Slack). Tacos are used to celebrate and highlight good deeds, great work, and the small (or mighty!) wins that keep us moving forward. Sure, we share tacos all week long, but Fridays have become a full-on taco fest. Seeing everyone come together before the weekend is the best feeling. ??     Want to be a better leader? Start by leading like you would a 9-year-old. In this clip from the Amazing Teams podcast, Elizabeth Hofreuter shares a simple but powerful truth: ?? “Everyone wants to be loved, and everyone wants to be heard.” Whether you're talking to a child or leading a team, great leadership comes down to three things: ? Listen Like You Mean It: Stop what you’re doing, make eye contact, and give your full attention. Active listening isn’t just about hearing words—it’s about making people feel valued. ? Respect Every Idea: Even if someone’s idea feels a little “out there” (like serving chocolate milk at lunch!), ask “why?” instead of dismissing it. You'll encourage deeper thinking and show that their input matters. ? Know When to Pause: Respectfully set boundaries when needed. If a conversation needs more time, let them know you value it and suggest picking it up later. These aren’t just tips for talking to kids—they’re lessons for leading people.
