Want to turn passive followers into active advocates? Our biggest tip: platform your community. When you give them the spotlight, you strengthen engagement, build loyalty, and create a thriving network of brand advocates. Here are four ways we like to platform our Pod community: 1. Treat our most VIP community members as influencers ? 2. Invite our community to share their expertise in content and events ?? 3. Celebrate our community’s milestones and wins (both professional and personal) ?? 4. Reshare our community’s content on our socials ?? What has worked for your brand?

Human-powered AI | Growth Marketing | Personal Branding

Absolutely aligned, and I’d expand the thought: As AI-generated content floods every channel, community becomes the filter for what’s real, trusted, and worth engaging with. Not because it’s trendy but because it delivers what AI alone can’t: → Context from lived experience → Trust built through consistency → Perspective shaped by diverse voices From where I sit, community is evolving from a marketing channel to a strategic infrastructure. It’s where insight travels faster, collaboration feels safer, and growth becomes more sustainable. It’s rooted in relationships, not reach. Shoutout to Joe Teo ?? HeyOrca and the HeyOrca ecosystem. This conversation is right on time given the theme of their upcoming summit. Worth checking out if you’re thinking about where community fits into your 2025 strategy and beyond. What role does community really play in your marketing org’s structure, goals, or budget right now? And where are you seeing untapped opportunity?

SVP Marketing & Growth @ Pavilion | DM me to ask about Pavilion membership

Community is your competitive advantage as a CMO ?? As we move deeper into a world flooded with AI-generated content, the role of community is shifting from a "nice to have" into an essential growth driver, both for you personally and the business you're charged with marketing. Why? Because community delivers three critical things marketers need now more than ever: ? Access ? Education ? Advice Education: Technology and market dynamics are evolving rapidly. Static courses, podcasts, or newsletters aren’t enough anymore. Communities allow you to learn at the speed of the market, providing real-time insights directly from your peers. Advice: Sometimes the best resource isn’t a textbook - it’s someone who’s been exactly where you are right now. Whether it’s evaluating new software, navigating complex team dynamics, or managing tricky C-suite conversations, advice from trusted peers can help you make smarter, faster decisions. Access: Breaking through the digital noise is increasingly difficult. Community connections offer invaluable access to networks built on trust. Warm introductions, career opportunities, strategic partnerships - all become far easier when trust is baked into the relationship from day one. At Pavilion, I constantly see how powerful this can be - how quickly members support one another, driven by our shared values of kindness and "give to get" and genuine commitment to mutual growth. If you're a marketing leader and you're not proactively leveraging community for your career and your team’s success, you're operating at a significant disadvantage. I'm obviously partial to Pavilion, but I'm also a member of at least 5 other communities. I'd love to know how you're a member of any communities you love - and if so, how you're using them to grow your career or your company ?? #CMO #MarketingLeadership #Community #KathleenHQ

I help social media managers with photography stuff. I also work in the title industry. | Social Media Manager | Photographer | Videographer

HeyOrca's webinar yesterday hit on creating and maintaining on and offline communities, and was hosted by the ever awesome Alyssa Pulford and Jesse Luimes (who was reporting from Malaysia!) Social media managers are very well aware of their online communities on the accounts they manage. What are other communities outside of social that could be implemented? For example, take HeyOrca's fantastic newsletter. They have created a community of social media managers who look forward to their newsletter every weekday morning. Myself included. You should sign up, too. I'll drop a link in the comments. Another great example of an offline community would be an in-person meetup. Host a lunch and learn. Give them value an connect with your customers IRL! My company does this. I like this slide below from the webinar about content. Don't be afraid to experiment with content and gathering people. Think about the sales funnel. Think about what's targeted to whom. Figure out what works and what doesn't. What sort of offline community outreach do you do?

    • A slide from a presentation stating "Adopt an experimentation mindset - every piece of content is a data point."
