???? ?????????????????? ???? ???????????? ??AI weather model beats weather reporters and uses 1,000× less energy. ????Europe’s AI-powered AIFS forecasting system predicted hurricanes 20% more accurately while consuming 1/1000th the energy of traditional models. ECMWF’s new AI weather model generated global forecasts in less than 10 minutes, while traditional models took 6–12 hours. For tropical cyclone tracking, AIFS improved accuracy by 20%, meaning more reliable storm warnings. AIFS requires 0.1% of the computing power of conventional forecasting systems, cutting energy consumption by 99.9%. If widely adopted, AI weather models could reduce global weather supercomputing costs by $500M+ annually. That's equivalent to the combined salaries of 6,500 doctors or 10,000 teachers. ?? Implications: More precise storm tracking could save up to $1.2 billion in disaster prevention per year. AI-driven forecasting also offers an 80% reduction in computational emissions, making it a game-changing green technology. The paper: https://lnkd.in/eH2Zhh6m

Picture ancient Greece, 384 BC: olive trees sway under a boundless sky, waves crash on Stagira’s cliffs, their foam glistening as a young seeker strides through an age of myth and conquest. A realm where intellect crowned kings. Into this world steps Aristotle, a mind whose curiosity charts the unseen. He studies with Plato and illuminates science, shaping thought for centuries. What is, in our view, his magnum opus? ??Nicomachean Ethics—a beacon for virtuous living. ???????????????????? ??????????: ? On Chalcidice’s shores, he gathered specimens—sea sponges and starfish—dissecting them under torchlight to chart nature’s order, his curiosity a bridge to eternal truths. ? His Lyceum, nestled in Athens’ groves near the Ilissos River, became a haven where students debated beneath plane trees, cultivating wisdom that shaped Western thought. ? In Pella’s royal halls, he tutored young Alexander, reading Homer by lamplight, planting ideals of justice and exploration in a mind that would conquer the known world. ?????? ???????????????? ????????????????: Seek understanding—explore one question deeply today. ??Ask Aristotle's clone: how did he make the Lyceum in to a hotspot for intellect? Picture 1976: a Los Altos, California garage glows with the flicker of solder, its wooden walls steeped in the scent of apple blossoms from nearby orchards, a quiet cradle for a technological dawn. In 1974, he trekked to India’s Kainchi Ashram, barefoot among Himalayan foothills, seeking Zen, ultimately infusing Apple’s designs with a serene, minimalist grace. ? ???????????? ?????????????? ??????. 1 ??? ???????????? – ?????? ???????????? ?????? ???????? ?????????????? Picture Rome in 63 BC: sunlight dances across the Forum’s marble pillars, dust rises from chariot wheels slicing through bustling crowds, and senators in crisp togas weave through a city alive with ambition. The Republic hangs by a thread. And it's an era where eloquence reigned supreme. Into this storm strides Marcus Tullius Cicero, a man with no noble lineage, yet a voice that can move mountains. He unveils politician Catiline’s conspiracy—torches poised to consume Rome—and with oratory precision, preserves a civilization. What is, in our view, his magnum opus? ??The Philippics—14 speeches against tyranny. ???????????????????? ??????????: ? His villa on the Palatine Hill housed rare manuscripts from Athens and Alexandria—scrolls of Plato’s dialogues and Hellenistic poetry, gathered from distant scholars, a testament to his love for wisdom amid Rome’s turmoil. ? In exile on the isle of Brundisium, surrounded by azure waves and whispering pines, he turned despair into works like De Re Publica, blending Stoic ideals with Roman virtue, a legacy that outlasts empires. ? Facing assassins in 43 BC, his villa stormed by torchlight, he bared his neck and declared, “I am Cicero,” his final words a defiant hymn to liberty that rang through the ages. ?????? ???????????????? ????????????????: Master your craft—hone one skill with dedication this week. ??Ask Cicero’s clone: how did he wield such a persuasive voice? I can’t feel anything. That was my one big complaint on AI, When I first started dabbling in all of the new tools. Sure the speed and amount of quality data and info was impressive. But the data channel doesn’t allow you to feel much. There’s no tone, there’s no personality, there’s no non verbal channel. Then I saw the avatars of Cicero , From legends of our past, to current day politicians and business leaders. These avatars don’t just spit out info, They completely resemble the actual living (or once living being)… With the quirks, the sense of humor, the gaffes, all of it. That….is something you can feel. That is AI in its most surreal form. It was very cool to hear the impressive Jared Zelman talk about the vision of his new company Cicero. And that while most AI enterprise applications are focused on replacing roles and tasks humans do or once did, His are mostly focused on pulling humans, their teams, and their organizations together, Via the power of scaling leadership personas, company missions, and thought leadership, etc… Literally allowing leaders the ability to scale themselves, their beliefs, and their key messages to everyone in their broader organization at any time…. I love this mission Jared and the Cicero team are on and look forward to playing with it ourselves in CREW ;)

Your CEO Can Be Cloned. Well, not exactly— But it ‘can’ be done close enough. Let’s face it, Most employees will never have a direct relationship with their CEO or C Suite. Not because they don’t want to, But because the traditional structure of leadership makes it nearly impossible. That changes with Cicero. Imagine an AI-powered extension of the C-suite— One that can answer employee questions, share strategic insights, and engage in real conversations at scale. Not a robotic memo. Not another canned town hall speech. But real dialogue, built on the leader’s actual knowledge, tone, and priorities. For the first time, employees can tap into executive thinking on demand. And leaders? They can be everywhere at once—without burning out. The future of leadership isn’t about being less accessible. It’s about scaling authenticity. Would you talk to your CEO if you actually had the chance? Now, you can. We’re thrilled to have Jared Zelman, the founder of Cicero, Join us at the CREW Kick Off Meet Up in Atlanta on February 20. Cicero is a company that uses artificial intelligence to enable users to have conversations with everyone from world renowned authors and thought leaders, to C- Suites of companies, to historical figures such as Aristotle, Abraham Lincoln, and Winston Churchill. These AI-powered avatars are designed to look and sound just like the original individuals, utilizing records of their writings and speeches to simulate authentic interactions. This is no bland data channel of communication. This is the real deal and is the most surreal form of AI I have personally seen and felt. We look forward to a highly interactive session in Atlanta that will challenge our thinking around AI enterprise application.
