Final day of #JECWorld2025! Dr. Leela Sequeira, section leader – EAP matrix Aerospace prepreg product development, talks through our rapid-curing prepreg, HexPly? M51. This rapid-curing prepreg is developed for hot-in/hot-out press curing of structural composite parts. Stop by Hall 5 – Stand H57 to see HexPly? M51 parts developed by GKN Aerospace and DUQUEINE Group. Visitors to our stand can also watch a video of pick and place deposition carried out in partnership with Airborne.

“Lightweight composite materials help aircraft increase range and reduce fuel burn and will continue to be in demand as part of a sustainable aviation future”. Yesterday, Hexcel Chairman, CEO & President Thomas Gentile presented to the JEC Composites Leadership Circle how continued innovation will help ensure future generations of aircraft use more lightweight composite material to increase efficiency of aircraft. Tom also highlighted the strong backlog of commercial airplane orders for the OEMs which underscores a strong outlook for the industry and the role of Hexcel as an essential partner in advancing lightweight composite materials.
