It is being created by Herringbone Animation, an indie 2D animation studio made up of artists from Disney, Warner Brothers, Dreamworks, Laika, Netflix and more. The inspiration for Planet Jane came from our love of cinematic 2D animated films like The Iron Giant, Atlantis, and The Prince of Egypt, films that inspired our studio's mission to revive high quality 2D animation with a modern twist. Our team of over 50 artists worked for months in between our day jobs to create this proof of concept teaser. Now, we are ready to begin production on our full 8 minute short film depicting the damaging effects of anxious attachment.
